High Density Gears

Capstan uses a variety of methods to produce high density gears for our customers. Depending upon your requirements our engineers can offer core densities ranging from 7.1 to 7.4 g/cm³ for bending fatigue resistance.

To achieve contact fatigue resistance the use of our selective densification process results in flank densities up to 7.8 g/cm³.
